Kelli Espiritu - President/Co-founder
I am a wife and mother of 4 boys, Jordan 16, Jackson 13, Easton 5 and Max who was stillborn at 38 weeks September 27, 2010. After we lost Max, we were faced with so many scary decisions, we had no idea how to answer all the questions coming at us. Not only did we feel alone and scared, we felt like a lot of decisions were based on our financial situation at the time. Could we afford to bury our son? Could we afford all the costs that go along with having a memorial service?
6 months after after saying our goodbyes to our son, we knew that we had to help other parents that were facing the tragic loss of their child. We founded Halos and knew that our mission would be made up of many support services, financial, emotional, physical, long-term. We knew that having these people turn to us would not only be a way to easy their stress and worry, but also be a way for our son to touch others lives and we will carrying on in his name.
